Working with educators

We provide the following support for educators working with neurodivergent children, young people and their families.

Staff support and mentoring

We provide specialised mentoring for SENCos, teachers, HLTAs, TAs and INAs. This covers:

  • Current theory in understanding neurodivergent experience (with a focus on autism and ADHD)

  • How to apply theory to specific students in your setting

  • Supportive learning strategies and classroom implementation

  • Wrap-around support for emotional, sensory and social communication needs

  • Running neuroaffirmative groups for sensory and emotional regulation

  • Setting up neuroaffirmative spaces within schools

Individual student support

Our comprehensive support for students includes:

  • Observations of students who are facing challenges with attendance or engagement

  • One-to-one meetings with students (where appropriate)

  • Consultations with parents/carers and key staff

  • Detailed reports with specific, actionable recommendations

  • Attendance at key meetings, including EHCP reviews

  • Direct mentoring to build positive neurodivergent identity and self-advocacy skills

Whole school/college neuroaffirmative development
We help education settings develop inclusive environments through:

  • Curriculum content audits to identify challenges for neurodivergent learners

  • Creating a clear ‘core offer’ for neurodivergent students that parents/carers can rely on

  • Policy development and quality assurance to ensure inclusive, progressive approaches

  • Supporting the implementation of sensory and emotional regulation strategies

Professional training
We can tailor training (online or in-person) to meet the specific needs of your setting. Common themes include:

  • Working successfully with families of neurodivergent students

Bespoke support

We can also assist with one-off or specialist projects or development within your school.

Public speaking

We offer inspirational talks, referencing progressive thinking around autism and neurodivergence, in collaboration with the autistic community. Our talks endorse a strengths-based focus and a positive narrative around autism/ADHD and neurodivergence.

Our talks can be tailored to meet your specific needs, both in terms of platform (e.g. face-to-face or online) and audience (e.g. professionals, parents, students).

You’ve honestly been such a lifeline for us and for our daughter. I don’t think she would have coped in Year 8 (or us!) without your support and insight.

This has been the most useful training I have been on in years!
